Breaking the Boundaries with Breakdown Printing: starts Monday 4 September 2023 - duration 5 months: Deposit

Breakdown (also called deconstructed) screen printing is just the best fun ever. And it’s so easy to do ... honestly!! And for those who have done it the ‘traditional’ way, I bet you haven’t done it in the ways I use!!

In this workshop we are going to use thickened procion dyes and water-soluble media to look at loads of different ways to get fabulous prints from your screens

Month 1 will be using stencils and textured objects to create screens, and month 2 will be working with beautiful nature.  Month 3 and 4 will be investigating the huge possibilities with water-soluble media and during the final month we will have 2 live sessions, where we will be mixing it all up to create completely one off and unique prints. New videos will be added to the group twice a month, usually between 3-5. 

Lists of media used will be sent out with a welcome letter shortly after booking

Cost is £40/month, payable monthly. You deposit of £40 pays for the first month

Videos will be posted into a private Facebook group twice a month.  The final live sessions will be streamed into the same group in the final month. All of these sessions can be watched and rewatched whenever you like. To encourage this, and good learning, the videos will stay in the group for an additional  year after the course finishes. The group will stay open for as long as you like 😊
