Christmas Silhouettes: 19 September 2022: Deposit payment, balance due Sep 22

Get double the value with this lovely seasonal wall hanging, which you can also use as a design to have printed to create your own Christmas cards.

This online course is scheduled in September, to give you time to complete the project in plenty of time for Christmas. The course will be delivered into an a Facebook classroom via videos (all available at course start) . I will be available in the group for any questions, ideas or any other help needed.  Numbers will be limited to facilitate this 

We will be using bright Christmassy fabrics and your choice of several abstract design layouts, to make a lively background for a seasonal silhouette. More experienced students may wish to use their own designs, and instructions will be given for doing this

We will stitch this down by machine and then add your choice of several Christmas silhouettes on top. Again – more experienced students may wish to use their own designs, and guidance will be given for this. Extra detail can then be added by hand or machine as desired. We will finish by learning how to finish and mount the work to hang on the wall and also discuss how to get the piece printed as a card.

Students will need to be able to use a basic stitch on the sewing machine, but no other experience is necessary.  This will be a fun day and you will go home with lots of ideas and a wonderful hanging for the holidays.

This course consists of 6 videos, which can be watched in succession, to make a 2 or 3 day workshop. Or they can be watched over time for a gentle project. The group and videos will stay available from the start date in September 2022, until Christmas 2022

Cost is £100: £50 on booking, remainder will be invoiced 2 weeks before course start date
