Protection - Barrier cream, gloves and masks - Shop
I am very bad at remembering to wear protective kit - but even I wear a mask when dealing with dye powders (which are toxic when air-borne).
It's a pain I know - but we all want to live a good long time to enjoy our messy play
I have two masks
- a good qulaity basic mask to keep dust out of your nose and mouth on odd accasions
- A slightly more refined respirator type mask for if you love dyes and are using them more often. Also effective with metallic powders.
I have also got some excellent quality nitrile gloves - in a glorious colour as a bonus!!. Nitrile is stronger than vinyl and latex free. I am hoping the colour may remind me to glove up!
